Gallop Jacket
Based on the classic coverall, the Gallop Jacket is a practical yet nostalgic piece, designed to embrace the beauty of puckering created by the stitching throughout the garment.
The dimensional wrinkles and subtle unevenness add depth to its simple appearance, developing more character and expression the more it is worn.
The lightweight denim fabric is made with organic cotton for the warp and recycled silk for the weft. Cotton tape applied to the inside of the body creates puckering with each wash, gradually developing into a rich, gathered texture reminiscent of subtle gathers.
The fabric also features small, grain-like silk neps scattered throughout. With repeated washing, the recycled silk develops its characteristic crisp, fine fibers, further enhancing the fabric's dimensional and textured appearance.
With every wear and wash, the jacket slowly changes its character, developing a unique texture and patina that reflects the person wearing it. The Gallop Jacket is designed to become a companion that grows with you over time.
